TODDLER ROOM
VISION
Leaders in the toddler room know that discipleship begins long before salvation, and recognize that this is an important time in a child’s early development! Through consistent rhythms of prayer, worship, and story, toddlers come to know the Father’s house as a place of joy and freedom.
SCHEDULE
FREE PLAY
This time gives toddlers a chance to explore toys in the room, and gives leaders a chance to take note of what they seem interested in! When a toddler loses interest in an item, they are invited to help their leader return it to the shelf so another child can take interest and play.
WORSHIP
It’s time to worship! Leaders model worship from the front of the room, showing how we can engage with our bodies during a more upbeat worship moment. They take turns leading corporate movements with ribbons and scarves, and invite toddlers to participate in follow-the-leader with actions!
KINGDOM KIDS CHANT
Leaders say the Kingdom Kids Chant over the room as they do the actions — all kids learn this powerful, gospel-identity declaration during their time in EVERYDAY KIDS!
PRAYER
Toddlers and leaders gather on the rug for a time of prayer! Leaders share a prayer focus (e.g., healing in eyes, people in Peru, etc.), and invite toddlers to participate by laying hands and repeating a short prayer!
SNACK + STORY
Leaders pass out a snack and read the short Bible story for the night. Toddlers’ developmental stage is honored by leaders pointing out objects or holding a prop as the story is read!
SOAKING WORSHIP
A worship moment for the night is turned on, and leaders take time to authentically worship. Even at this young age, children are taking in what is being modeled in the room - we believe that authentic engagement with God will sow seeds of fruit in our toddlers!
