LIFESTYLE SCHOOL: COMMITMENTS

ELS is designed to be a robust training experience that fits into the schedule of the everyday believer. Please review the commitments below to get a better picture of the EVERYDAY Lifestyle School:

TUESDAY NIGHT CLASS (6-9 PM)

ELS meets in the Youth Auditorium each week from 6-9 PM. These nights will consist of teaching, discussion, worship, and ministry.

PRAYER ROOM (2 hours per week)

Students will spend two hours a week in the Prayer Room attending Corporate Sets. Students can choose the set that they attend. Corporate Sets will be available on Mondays from 4-6 PM, Tuesdays from 4-6 PM, and Wednesdays from 8-10 PM!

SUNDAYS

Consistent attendance at Awakening Service is required.

RETREATS / WEEKENDS

 

  • To kick off the school, all students and staff will spend a Saturday together at The Base sharing stories, worshipping together, and getting to know one another.

    Commitment is for Saturday (9 AM-8 PM)

  • Our only overnight commitment, this two-day retreat will explore the character and nature of God. This retreat will be held at Mt. Olivet Conference and Retreat Center.

    Our schedule will allow for a full workday on Friday and attendance at Awakening Services on Sunday.

  • A second retreat to Mount Olivet will be held on February 7th, 2025. We will take our time letting Holy Spirit lead and love our souls in a place of prayer.

    This will be a day trip, beginning at 9 AM and completing at 5:00 PM.

  • Though service opportunities and evangelism will be encouraged throughout, an all-day community outreach event will take place on a Saturday in April (exact details TBD).

SERVING

When serving opportunities arise for large events or initiatives, ELS students will roll up their sleeves to help make them happen! Serving opportunities will be presented at least a month in advance.

HOMEWORK

PRACTICES

Practices and challenges will be initiated throughout the school to supplement the content. This could include prayer focuses, devotional time, service projects, evangelism, fasts, or other aspects of Kingdom living.

READING

Students will read four books throughout the 8-month school, with written reflections for each book that will be submitted to school leaders. In addition, Bible reading plans will be presented throughout the year.

COST

Tuition for ELS is $1,000. This is payable in two installments, Sept 8th, 2025, and Jan 5th, 2026. Couples who elect to participate together will receive a discount ($1,750 total for the couple). Tuition covers all materials, retreats, food, and required activities. Optional and/or recommended activities not included.

LIFESTYLE AGREEMENT

All students who participate in ELS must agree to live according to the EVERYDAY Lifestyle Agreement for the duration of the school. Please review this document before applying.
